Welcome to the massage practices Touch Amsterdam and the Touch Natuur Foundation

Touch Amsterdam was founded in 1989 and has since brought massage to perhaps 3000 people. Classical massage forms the basis of Touch’s massage. This is the form that is standard in Western Europe and North America and also forms the basis of sports massage. In the case of Touch, however, the techniques are used predominantly for general relaxation in everyday life.

Touch specializes in giving beginners’ courses, especially in classical massage, and many of the people mentioned above have been students on these courses. The practice is also always happy to provide masseurs at events to give shorter sampler-massages or to give demonstrations or workshops (at a demonstration an audience just watches; during a workshop the participants actually massage).

As you might gather from the menu items next to this homepage, as well as courses, Touch offers individual massage. It also has a massage book in English and a DVD in English and four other languages. The book and DVD are based on the beginners’ course.

A series of international courses, presented slightly less regularly, may be of interest to some men. The link is then to Gaytouch. The next Gaytouch week will take place in June 2012. We have, unfortunately, no plans for other courses in English in the Netherlands, but a workshop in English for a private group is always possible.

Everyone needs time out, an hour for him- or herself. Touch masseurs have considerable experience in providing good, deep massages for stress release. You are in good hands!

Courses

We present the basic Touch beginners’ course in classical massage which we have developed and refined over a period of 20 years. About 2200 people have attended such a course.

Unfortunately, we were unable to get a group together for this massage course and holiday week. There is a short note on the Natumass page about this. We have left Natumass on the site for the moment because there are still links to it on sites around the world.

Gaytouch

Gaytouch is for gay men because of the relative ease of reaching a particular target group (targeting ‘all the men in the world’ is not realistic) and also because of the quite intensive social aspect of such a week. In June 2012 we return to Spain, to a location where we have held several highly successful weeks for Dutch groups but which will be a first for Gaytouch.
